no need to buy brass.
go to places were people shoot ( not pay to shoot ranges) and pick up the brass left behind. i must have 8000 .223 mty, thousands of .9mm and so on. get a slow walk. fresh air. just buy a extend reach with the better cup ends. and a five gallon bucket.
learn on pistol brass first.
use the correct primers and powder. watch out for no or over loaded cartridges.
after a couple thousand rounds it will be second nature.
