If it doesn't go to the start up, it is more apt to be an issue with the receiver vice the antenna.

I have been looking for a friendly camper with a dish system to talk with, so not yet.
Yes Wally wanted to do a switch check before doing the complete reset, now stops midcheck as dish is not moving to search at all. That is why i'm thinking antenna failure as the cable tests fine and have tried another piece of new short cable.
