I have just a regular hose hooked in while I'm troubleshooting and cleaning. I will get the right hose and flush, sanitize everything once Im ready to use it. Here is a pic of what I've got. Is this wrong?
I can fill the tank and use the pump but isnt it supposed to pressurize when hooked up? I'm so confused and the owners manual isnt very helpful.

All I can imagine is that there is a faulty check valve somewhere, but I'm still learning how the water system works.
