This is totally not RV related but I thought I would pass it on, just in case. I received this today in my e-mail from a reliable source.

THE FOLLOWING WAS JUST RECEIVED FROM THE CITY OF HURST CRIME INFORMATION SERVICE.* PLEASE READ.

I have just received information that there are financial scams beginning to go out in reference to the recent Colombia Shuttle disaster.* These scams are coming in via e-mail and phone and the suspect(s) are soliciting money for the astronaut's family. The only charity that I was able to locate is an extended program that was started in 1986 from the Challenger incident.* Donations for the 12 children of the Columbia astronauts can be mailed to the:

Space Shuttle Children's Trust Fund
P.O. Box 34600
Washington D.C. 20043-4600

* * If you, your children or organizations would like to send notes, cards or condolences to the families you may mail them to:

Challenger Learning Center of San Antonio
P.O. Box 35400
Brooks AFB, TX 78235

* * You may also keep an eye on the NASA website to see if any further charities will be started.* I know at a time like this people feel that they would like to do their part to console and to do their share during this horrific event but please do not become a victim of a criminal's obvious lack of conscious.* If you receive any e-mails or phone calls verify the information before contributing and if you feel that the charity is suspicious contact the Hurst Police Department.
