Have you ever pulled the top section of the hitch off for cleaning and re-lubing? I do our once a year. Another question, how do you hook up? You are not supposed to drop the pin box on to the hitch. Instead, you are supposed to leave the pin box just a tad lower (half inch to an inch) than the hitch surface and then back into it with the truck.
