Yup half hour at the most. All they have to do is take out about 6-8 screws and lower the underbelly to check it. They are definitely ripping you off on that operation! IF they do replace the tank/s make sure they DO NOT weld or make a solid connection to the pipes going into and out of the tank/s. If they put a 3-4 inch piece of radiator hose or the like with clamps on the point of each connection you will have less vibration going into the tank while going down the nations byways. Also have them put support straps under the tanks in several places with some type of rubber or foam padding between the tank and the straps to stop the tank from vibrating on the straps.
