If you are worried about hail, I suggest you cut and tape cardboard over your vents (unless you have vent covers). Mynabird and Hobo Bob had some serious damage a few years ago just out of Rapid City. They had hail the size of baseballs. I saw Escalades, Lincolns, Mercedes and others beat all up from that storm.
