Be aware there is a difference between the threaded stud size and the socket size used to torque them. The stud or bolt size is measured in its outside diameter and the nut size is determined by its inside diameter. A 1/2" stud/bolt/nut size would require a 3/4" socket. A 9/16" stud/bolt/nut size would be 7/8" socket.
