not repair related but preventive

This isn't repair related but our 2017 305RL 5th wheel also had one argument with a campground tree and lost I'm sorry to say. My husband, who will not be beat, had the roof repaired. He is the better person to address this but my point is to say that since that episode he always travels with a tree trimmer. There are at least 3 RV park sites that now have nicely landscaped trees. It does take awhile for him to do his trimming but it is well worth it as we don't have to worry about our roof , slide outs or paint on the sides of the RV. I have joked with the RV park managers and handymen that maybe they should pay my husband for his services. Fortunately, they have all been thankful for the upgrades to their sites. Bottom line is that ALWAYS travels with the tree trimmer. He will not be beat and he will never allow any tree, bush or shrub to get harm his baby. I'm glad he feels the same about me.
I'll try to get him to post about the roof repair. Thanks for listening.
