With all of that weight on the rear axle, if one tire blows out in the rear, it will be nasty. At least with a dually, you could limp along to safely get to a place where you can repair the blowout. Same thing I feel about people pulling boats with single axle trailers! Always good to have that safety net. Plus someone else said her, by the time you add the weight of wife and you and dogs and hitch and full fuel and accessories, then drop that 3931 pin on the rear, which I am guessing will be closer to 3,200 especially if you put the generator in front, and bingo you are over weight carrying capacity with the srw truck.
