We are about a week away from starting our northward trek from Seattle
, and are wondering what to expect in the way of cell phone service and internet availability in BC. We are considering ponying up the extra $20 a month for Canadian service on Verizon if we thought we could get internet over their aircard. Looking at their coverage map it seems like pretty fair coverage as far as Prince George, BC, but that's it until you get up around Tok. Helen, from your journal (which we are following with great interest), it sounds like you are relying solely on WiFi. Any advice from you guys who have been there/done that would be appreciated.
