When we dry camp we do as you do Rondo, Smokey licks the food off the plates and pans, so when we wash them we dont have to worry about left over food going down the drain
we used to use paper towels but that got too expensive.
I will help once in a while and get my hands wet, I always seem to get a reward for the help.
