Every RV owner should have a volt meter and know how to use it. You can buy them really cheap and they are easy to use

You can test on battery to learn how to use or get someone to show you. This is a very useful tool and well worth your time to learn to use. There are a lot of problems you can troubleshoot with a volt meter.

In this case, you pull the cover off light pull bulb out turn on switch. Set volt meter to a range just over 12 volts dc (most meters will have a 20 volt dc range) touch black probe to ground and red wire to the center (hot/positive/+) contact. You should get a reading of a little over 12 volts. If you have power replace bulb. If not back up to switch and test there. It sounds complicated but it really isn’t.
