Thanks for the tips. To paint as I've considered, it would have to be a special paint like plastic car bumpers are painted. Easy to replace but would be a temporary fix. The other suggestions I will try.
Amazon's 100' roll for $16.00 do you have a link? I want to get the correct molding as there are several different sizes.
