After you do your homework on loan value and condition make your first offer something so low your ashamed to even offer it. Be prepared to defend that offer as all you can afford and walk away when it's rejected. Wait a day or two and see if they call and if not then go back and seriously negotiate. A dealer wants to move used units badly. If you want the best deal you need to test how badly they want to move the one you want.
