Slide is part of the problem because of heat venting. If not in a slide, heat vents straight up, and out through a vent on the roof itself. On a slide, heat does not go straight up and out thru the roof, it starts out going up, but then vents thru the top vent on the side of the trailer via 90 degree turn aided by fans and baffles. I added an AC fan at the bottom vent, pointed straight up, to help push the heat out.
