Both hydraulic and electric, the two main slides in the kitchen/eating area are hydraulic, the other 3 slides (Den living area & bedroom) are electric. I wouldn't worry too much about either, we've had no issues with either hydraulic or electric slides in any of our units over the past 15 - 20 yrs. I do like the speed of the hydraulic slides though..
