Having Recently installed the Maxbrake Brake Line Pressure Brake Controller, I've been VERY satisfied with legacy drum trailer braking.
Running at about 13K Lbs with a Dodge Dually Tow vehicle with Four Wheel Disc Brakes may also contribute to satisfaction.
