Hope you like trains Hwy 2 follows the BNSF North Line route runs around 50-60 a day. Spent 6 months working along there from Havre to Whitefish back in 2003. When you plan your stay, if you have time, stay on both sides of the park to enjoy it the best. Remember you cannot take your rig over the pass from St.Marys to West Glacier. Staying on the East side will give you an easy days access to Waterton park in Alberta. Cut Bank, MT is about the last place to pick up supplies so make sure you are stocked up on everything because the next major shopping will be the tri-city area of Columbia Falls, Whitefish and Kalispel. Watch your fuel, stations are far apart in the area. Save your $$ on the bear bells cause in MT they are called dinner bells...... for the Griz....

Of all the places I have spent time Glacier is still number 1 on my list.

One more thing flip a coin to see who gets to drive the "Going to the Sun hwy" and have a laugh! Or better yet try the Red Bus Tour!

Safe travels and please say hi to the park for me.......Miss it!
