My HC AC in the bedroom is ducted and on a separate thermostat with the furnace. The living room thermostat controls the heat pump. We run the bedroom unit on dump until bed time. Then the quietness of the ducted method is appreciated. Also, the ability to cool the rest of the 5er should the main AC go down is nice.
