All I can say is "ditto" to what Stiles posted. Marge and I were on the same tour and enjoyed every breath taking moment. Being on this guided tour, to me, was the only way to go. We viewed the Canyon from viewpoints that the average tourist doesn't see.
We were at the Canyon in 1967 but I didn't recognize anything but the Canyon. It seems to me that we drove up next to the South Rim and took pictures. Now, there are buildings where everyone gets off their bus, goes near the edge and takes pictures. They should see the pictures we got.
