We recently returned from W. Yellowstone where my husband was introduced to fly-fishing. Since then, we've been searching for RV campgrounds near rivers for him to practice upon (and me to indulge my birdwatching hobby!)

We've been twice to River Reflections RV Park in Oroville. Very deceptive (in a negative way) from the front but pull into the back of the campground and the sites are spacious and easy to back into, full hookups, nicely kept and, best of all, the fishing is within walking distance of a few minutes. Our back window looked out on the water and the two times we've been there (October and February), the campground was quiet and very peaceful. I'm sure it's a little nosier in the summer months.

No refunds if you need to cancel but they will give you a credit for a return trip. Feather Falls Casino is 4 miles down the road and Feather Falls is an all day hike for alternative activities.

Would love to hear of other Fly Fishing/Bird Watching RV parks in Northern California!
