Hi

That is a typical I beam failure and when the structure it supports began to “diamond” because of the lack of support on one side it causes that type of damage.

I have seen this in buildings before.

My metal structures engineer told me a year or so before he passed away that Lippert needed an experienced metal structure engineer with welding training.
