We replaced the lead acid batteries with the 12 volt AGM batteries. They don't have to be vented and don't have to filled with water. They last longer and charge faster but they are expensive. I could never remember to check the wet batteries and they would burn up. We do very little boondocking but it's nice to know we have the power to make it through the night.
