X2 what John said. On most RVs the outside cable connection goes to the Aux input side of the Antenna Amp. With the amp on LED lit signal from the antenna is routed to bed room, living room, and on some units the basement. With the amp off, LED out the signal from the outside cable connection is now routed to those locations and not the antenna signal.
