Thanks Carl - that is the thread I remember, and to follow up - I have not solved the gasket leak yet, but the leak tends to pool a small amount of water in the bottom of the compartment. The TV works fine and has not been affected. I just get a towel and wipe it out from time to time. I suppose this fix has moved to the “I’ll get to it someday” section of my list.

I am tempted to get some 1/4” peel-n-stick weatherstripping and mount to the door to try to force a tighter seal to the factory gasket.
