We have a 3160RL, 36ft Montana. It is just about a same floor plan as yours, expect kitchen sides are on opposite sides. We went to a queen mattress, had a local Michigan company that makes mattress that are shorter than a normal bed. You will need a queen that measures 60x75. As far as how much room do you gain, look at it this way, a king measures 78”wide, a queen measures 60”wide. So you will gain 18” total, about 9” on each side. Hope this helps!
