Thanks to Campbud and Wrenchtaveller for sharing their installation pictures. Ours is finally installed-- and it looks GREAT!!!!!!
I trimmed it with oak boards stained with "golden oak" Watco Danish oil. This fireplace is a Classic Flame 23EF005. Trimming the existing cabinet was relatively easy as the fascia boards are screwed in so I was able to remove them to cut to size.
