That is one reason why I haven't bought new chairs. New ones come with 4 or 6 feet and you can't slide them on carpet. We have to move the chairs out from the wall when we setup and need that ring on the bottom of chair to move them. The plastic Movers device with plywood rounds attached sounds like a good idea. Our factory chairs are comfortable, but they put cheap fabric on them and showed signs of wear too soon.
