Quilting/Sewing What to bring!

Update : Aug 31 - The fabric is cut, the squares are ready to be sewn, my next project is to mark the squares that need it!! We are getting down to the wire, and I have some fabric all set for sashing and binding. All you seasoned quilters have extra 100 percent cotton fabric in your stashes. I am needing medium to dark browns and very light cream or tans, for borders and backing. UNWASHED ONLY. Normally we pre wash all fabrics, but I thought I might have to buy some while there, so since I don't have washer or dryer on board, we'll use unwashed.
I have batting I am donating and if most of you are able, I'm asking for a $10 donation to defray my costs. oh, Everyone who makes a square for our quilt to donate gets to make a second square. We will put all those extra squares in a stack and door prize them to a lucky sewer. She can finish them off as she wishes, and some of us may be able to help her do that , depending on our time.
The colors should go in any of our Montanas, and I sure hope everyone likes them as much as I do! I am so looking forward to a GREAT Rally!
Safe travels to all, see you soon! Terrie

Ladies and any Gents who sew or want to. The idea so far is to put together VERY EASY squares with the hopes that we have enough interest to make and finish a whole quilt. We could probably have more than one time set aside in the schedule to work on this project, or something else you are already working on. IF said quilt gets finished we would donate it to be auctioned/raffled.
I NEED people to let me know if interested so I can prepare supplies, and pre cut the fabric. All you need is the desire to learn and know how to work your machine. If you don't have a sewing machine, bring a thimble and you can do hand work!
I don't know what days or times yet, but I am NOT a morning person, so don't expect it to be very early!
Please reply to this thread, and send me a pm if you want to help. I could sure use it!

WOW. AWESOME RESPONSES, LADIES!!!!!

So far we have a great group started. Lets me know there is plenty of interest!
I'm listing interested people, and asking for you to bring an iron, and ironing board if possible, the little table top ones work, whatever you have, don't go buy any!

Another request...make sure your machine is in good working condition and you know how it works. Bring extra needles, a medium gray thread, extra bobbins,( if they are already filled, it saves lots of time.) A pair of sharp scissors is essential and a sense of humor mandatory!
I will add names to the list as you contact me, I appreciate all the interest so far!
