I just noticed this thread. Basically, like others...I bought the nuts, bolts and washers that I needed and replaced them. However, I do have one thing to add to this commentary. Computer World and Amazon both sell step stabilizers. I bought one and use it to support my bottom step. It works great. I recommend Leisure Time Marketing 14009 Step Stabilizer or Camping World Catalog Item No. 30984. ...And one more thing. I bought one...but the next time I get close to a CW...I am going to buy another one so that I can support both sides...and not just the middle of the step.
