New Sailuns

I looked at the Sailun tires five years ago when I put new tires on the Monte but decided to go with Firestone Transforce since that is what I ran on the old Monte and my TV. Time to replace so I asked my tire shop guy what he thought about the Sailuns and he said that he had put many of them on commercial trailers and never had an issue or complaint. So I ordered them and had them put on, bearings packed and am ready to take off to Tennessee next week. $653 out the door. I kept the old tires and put on Craigslist. Sold them to a guy for his utility trailer for $250. They looked brand new with minimal cracking on the side. He was happy, I am happy. Tire shop suggested only running 80 psi even though we have the 110lb wheels. They said at my gvw if I ran 110lb my 5er would bounce quite a bit. Will see how it runs up the mountain and report back.
