A 30 buck cable kit on Amazon along with the on-line BAL Accu Slide manual plus a few minutes watching their on-line video. You can carefully orient and use two small cable clamps (Home Depot) if you don't want to buy the 30 buck crimp tool.
If you can get decent access to your slide without opening it completely, you can pull the new cable around the pulleys with the Chinese finger trap gadget that BAL supplies in the kit.
