Jim-- I haven't tried this since I still have a single battery in my 2980 but have you thought about using a PVC T-fitting? If you have another box and the vent hose, I would think you could use a PVC fitting and put the vent hose over the T-fitting and secure it with some radiator clamps or similiar clamps. Hopefully, someone else will be along and come up with other ideas also! Keep us informed as to what you come up with and how you do the modification!
