We have been around the country twice this past 12 months....lowest bridge we saw on any major road was 13-6. That is not just interstate highways...we like the smaller roads. We are 12-9....I figure any bridge lower than 13-6 merits a slow travel through, anything below 13 is a "don't even try it". Have seen only one of those on any US or State numbered route. I believe there may be some in isolated New England areas or maybe VA / WVa, although we didn't find any during our travels there.

There is a Trucker's Highway Map book which lists, by state and highway number, all the bridge/overpass heights below 15'. Fine for planning, and could save encountering an unexpected problem somewhere.

We did elect to not take the Monty through the tunnel on the main road from Zion Nat Park to Bryce Canyon. Just too tight a fit all around. Probably couyld have made it OK, but I try not to do "probably" where safety/structural damage is a factor.

Other than that, no problem of any sort in over 13K towing.

Safe Travels!
