Spot on.
DQDick often points out it isn't just the springs and axles you have to consider. Its also the TIRES and their rated capacity!!! Two more tires on the back end cuts the weight carried by each quiet a bit! Folks don't buy big &%^* rear ended trucks because they like them. They do it because it is the best TOW truck.
Like I have said a hundred times: IF your shopping for a truck and there is no reason not too, get one size larger than what meets the minimum requirements when your at maximum load.
