Thanks, Joyce H. I haven't yet spent the time to research the average daily temperatures on wunderground so can you clue me to approximately what is meant by 'cold nights'? That seems to be a very relative term with significantly different meanings in different parts of the country.

Point in case, I recently had a young clerk in Sault Ste. Marie, MI, tell me it was too blinking hot (it was 75 with low humidity) and when it hits 80 she "aint going outside". To us former Kansans, 80 in August is often the overnight low, if it manages to get that low.
