I have had some luck using Dawn 4X with a medium stiff brush. It removed about 70% of the black stain. Like most stains, the longer they sit in the sun and bake, the more difficult they become to remove.
I use to purchase all types of speciality cleaners, roof cleaner, awning cleaner, bug and black streak cleaner, now all I use is Dawn 4X for everything. It is safe to use and does a super job on the black crud that builds up the silicone sealer used along the moldings and doors.
