Carol, whenever a wheel has been dismounted/mounted the lug nuts will work loose a bit for awhile. You are supposed to stop every 50 to 100 miles or so and retorque the lugnuts. It usually takes two or three retorquings before ours don't move anymore and I can put the lugnut covers back on. This is true for the standard painted rims but I'm not sure if the aluminum rims require the same retorquing process or not.
