I have used Timbrens, Firestone airbags, and currently AirLift airbags. The Timbrens were marginally "OK", the Firestones failed me, and the AirLifts are just fine. I do not need the bags for increased carrying capacity, just wanted to improve ride a little and it works. Air bags don't have to cost a lot more than Timbrens if you are capable of installing them yourself and don't feel the need for onboard air supply. I have the onboard air but it is not necessary.

BTW, I am originally from Pickens county.
