Well, after a few trips I have decided the boom must go. I have remove it and am using a clear 45 degree adapter and a heavy duty 15' hose. That works best for me. I must admit though, the boom idea did appeal to me when we bought the Monty. I just didn't like playing with it at the last campground we stayed. I had to hold it in position with a bungee cord or it pulled the hose at a sharp angle. I might inspect it further and make some modifications.....or not. Whatever.............
