Thanks for the info on the bed retainer, had never heard of that before.
Unhooked last night and was able to slam the tailgate shut and lock it so we could tour the Tetons today.
Just tried to open the tailgate and of course it is jammed shut, can't get it down. Have a locking Tonneau cover so can't get to it from the other side to force the tailgate open unless I destroy the cover. What next??
