Anytime there is moisture and/or humidity over time you will have mold. The environment has to be controlled, this can happen in walls, carpets, ceilings or anywhere there is moisture and the correct growing temperature. I can see this driving up the cost of a matteress. Sounds like someone wants something for not caring for their bedding.
