That's another thing, Virgil. The WIND. It's prevalent everywhere in the Plains states. I lived in Liberal, KS for 3 years as an oilfield engineer (OK Panhandle area), but when you get that wind in ND, it's a whole new ball game! I really don't think there's anywhere else in the US where you get those kind of unbelievable temp swings... and sometimes within days! Great duck hunting out there, though.
