At least some Everests have the remote thermostat, I have a friend with one. At least Happy Daze learned something useful from your experience. Glad you got it sorted out eventually. Ours went a little smoother, in particular even though Dometic shipped the parts to the dealer, the dealer just forwarded them to my home, where I installed them myself. We are about 3 hours from our dealer, and it did not seem worth the trip for a fairly simple job. (At least fairly simple if you read this Forum!)
