As others have said, weigh your truck. Get actual weights loaded with you and whatever else you take. Full fuel, wife, dog, tools, etc. Now take the trailer GVWR figure 20-23% for pin weight. Add the estimated pin weight to the actual rear axle weight. Look at the sticker on the truck, you can not weight over the GVWR or any axle GAWR.
