Sounds like the mixing valve might not have been installed correctly.If you are getting hot water at other faucets then it certainly not the hot water heater. The mixing valve was probably not turned correctly for the install.I had this problem on my home and had to take the lever on the mixing valve out and turn it a little to the left and reinstall so that i could have hot water. This is the lever behind the outside plate and shower handle. This is a quick fix at the dealer. It would take them probably longer to do the paper work than correct the problem but we ALL know how the dealers operate.Good Luck.
