The slides should make a little noise but not a lot. And yes they must be lubed from time to time. The slide seals should also be lubed with the special stuff they require. The guy you need to direct your question to is on the MOC. He is MIMF.... he works for Lippert Industries which supply the slide mechanical parts. He can give you all the info you will need.
