Virg and Jo, both my wife and I have secured this latch, by putting it in the hole then turning it back to lock. We think when we hit a bump it must come out. The pin is as far down as we can get it, I have been thinking about taking the bottom bracket off and seeing if I cannot raise it so the pin would stay in. I wont be able to get to it till later in the week. Sure hope that it works or I will call dealer and ask for a whole new pin latch.
