In just three short years of full timing we took off from the Montana when an approaching storm threatened us. One situation was while camped in Alabama and one in Illinois. The Alabama one was a small tornado and didn't hit the park directly. The Illinois one was a huge twister and missed that park also, but caused a lot of damage to surrounding towns.

Neither one of these campgrounds had any type of shelters or any suggestions on where to go in case of emergency situations. This was always one area of concern for us while traveling full time. As more and more folks are introduced to this lifestyle maybe CG's should be required to provide either emergency shelters or at least emergency plans.
